Feldenkrais classes are known as Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons. Similar to Tai Chi or gentle yoga, ATM lessons use slow, mindful movements to achieve powerful effects in terms of strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. During these lessons, you are given the opportunity to learn more about how you move by breaking down larger movements to smaller parts. Paying attention to these small pieces of the movement will increase your sensitivity and skill, giving you more grace, control, and power as you move through life!
